This coffee is sourced from the Vohora family’s Finagro estate, of 250 acres of coffee. It is located between the lowest and highest points in all of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) and the floor of Lake Tanganyika (352m below sea level). They are located on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with more than 25,000 wild animals. They have a wet-mill and a dry mill which ensure quality and traceability, and they have diversity on the farm including bees, macadamia trees and an agroforestry program. Finagro has 50 full time employees and nearly 500 people employed during the peak of harvest.
